King Henry II of England

King Henry II, the first Angevin king of England, appears in our family tree in the Dillingham line as well as his son, King John, the original royal to sign the Magna Carta. Other royalty appear in some research in other lines of this family tree.

Welcome!

People have been researching their family history and genealogy for centuries. This information comes from many resources like oral and written histories provided by relatives and vital and governmental records. Many, many such sources of information are available, but many are difficult to reach without a severe amount of dedication.

I have been personally gathering my family's history for over three decades. As many who have done such research, I have struggled with brick walls, dead ends, inconsistent and questionable information gathered by like minded people, and spending way too much time and effort for not much return. I have tried to keep sources noted for my information and I have also tried to verify the less reliable sources of information with better sources.

Please enjoy the fruits of my mission. I make no guarantees as to the complete accuracy of the information presented with these pages. I have tried to verify as much of the shared history info I have gathered. But I know that I am not infallible and that mistakes will be found. If you find some, please let me know and I will endeavor to correct it and give you credit for the changes.

This website is set up for privacy for living and recently deceased people. To view the information herein, you will need to set up a user profile and get approved by me. I intend for this site to be a resource for my family members to view the work I have done and enjoy finding more information about their roots.
